Rosh Chodesh (in Person) Monday, May 2, 7:00 p.m. -- Women are invited to join in a monthly gathering as we celebrate the new month through discussions and programs. This month we will welcome the month of Iyyar. One theme of this month is self -care, which should make for an interesting discussion. We will meet from 7:00 to 9:00 pm on May 2 at Jackie Goodman's home. Please register on the event page by April 28, 2022. Note that the group is limited to 12 participants.

Krafts & Kibitzing (Zoom) Wednesday, May 4, 7:30 p.m. -- Crafters of all ages and abilities are invited to bring their current crochet, knit, or other handicraft/art projects to this Zoom hangout. We will share ideas, learn tips and tricks, and shoot the breeze. Break-out rooms are available for our 17 years and younger set.

Step Up! Volunteers Needed -- Our voluntary commitment model asks each person to donate both financially and of themselves.  We are asking each member to commit to participating on a committee, task force, or project. We cannot afford to bring on professional staff to do all the work. A few of our greatest current needs include:
*Marketing and Communications - help is needed for our electronic sign, website, Facebook, etc.
*Social Action - needs a new chairperson
*B'nai Mitzvah Coordinator - to work with our families
*Task Force to honor Rabbi Eitan
If you want more information and have interest in helping in any of these areas, contact Stuart Aizenberg -  president@shir-hadash.org  / 847-840-7895

Memorial Wall Spaces Available -- We have plenty of room to remember your loved ones in perpetuity on our Memorial Wall. Each plaque ensures that the name of your loved one will be read on his or her yahrzeit, that the light will be lit at Yizkor four times a year, and that you will be mailed an annual notification prior to the appropriate date.
