Security Team Needs Volunteers -- Shir Hadash has a security action plan and equipment. We were talking about implementing training and did a bit before Covid hit. Buffalo Grove Pride Parade, Sunday June 5, 11:00 a.m. -- Shir Hadash will again be marching in the Parade as we did prior to Covid. We may also have an information table in the park after the parade. Queer Torah Study, Sunday June 5, 1:00 p.m. -- Following the Buffalo Grove Pride Parade (above), Shir Hadash will join in an inclusive torah study led by Keshet educator Jackie Maris. We'll gather with other congregations in the park at 951 McHenry Road. No knowledge of Hebrew required; all are welcome.

Mussar Discussion Group (Zoom), Thursday June 9, 7:30 p.m. -- Mussar is a centuries old Jewish body of teachings, a perspective, and a disciplined practice that provides distinctively Jewish answers to the sorts of questions any thinking person asks about life. MOSH/WISH Go to Pinstripes, Sunday June 12, 4:30 p.m. -- MOSH (Men of Shir Hadash) & WISH (Women in Shir Hadash) invite you to an adult event at Pinstripes in Northbrook! We are meeting at the indoor Bocce ball courts for Bocce, food, drinks, and conversation. Book Club Discusses Evergreen (Zoom), Thursday June 16, 7:30 p.m. -- The Shir Hadash Book Club is reading the novel Evergreen by Belva Plain. Join us for a lively virtual discussion; RSVP to be sent the Zoom link.
