Outdoor Shabbat Service - At our June 17 Shabbat Service in the greenspace, we honored our departing education director Rachel Goldberg, the retiring Board members, and the incoming Board.  We ended the service with an ice cream truck that was enjoyed by all.

Shabbat Bike Ride & Torah Study: Members joined Rabbi Eitan on a Shabbat morning ride on the Des Plaines River Trail to the Captain Daniel Wright Woods, where Lynn Liebling led our Torah study session.

Shavuot -- More than 20 members joined us for Shavuot in person. They enjoyed blintzes generously donated by the Andes family and cheesecake donated by Stuart Aizenberg. Following the fressing, we had a lovely service and then three study sessions. Our new VP of Education, Adam Gross spoke on the Growth Mindset, Social Emotional Learning, and Judaism. Rabbi Eitan taught us about Sefaria, a living library of Jewish texts online. Caryn and Joe McArdle made us all jealous talking about and sharing pictures from their trip to Egypt, Jordan, Israel and Istanbul.

Kabbalat Shabbat and SHED Talk -- After a lovely brief service, we heard a fascinating talk by Sean Fisher-Rohde about Astronomy and his new role as a NASA/JPL Solar System Ambassador.
