MOSH Riders Enjoy Bike Shabbat
Last Saturday, Rabbi Eitan and 10 members of our Shir Hadash community embarked on a Shabbat morning bike ride and Torah study organized by the Men Of Shir Hadash.  The group enjoyed a 15-mile round trip bike ride up to the Chicago Botanic Garden, where they were joined by other members. Everyone had breakfast on the patio of the beautiful garden cafe and participated in a lively Torah study session.

CREATIVE WORSHIP AND RITUAL

Services This Week
  • Shabbat Evening Service, Friday July 1, 7:30pm -- Join us for a celebration of being Jewish and American as we prepare for Independence Day.  We’ll share stories about the blessings that our ancestors found in America when they first arrived, as well as those that we still appreciate each and every day. We will also have an auf ruf -- a pre-wedding celebration, complete with special ceremony and blessings -- for Jorie Lazar, granddaughter of Jerry Schor, and Blake Dermer.  Come celebrate with Jerry and the happy couple!  And, as always, we would appreciate your bringing something for the oneg.

  • hot vegetable to feed 20 people (x2)

Please click here to see a spreadsheet of donations we need and to sign up. For details on where and when to drop off food, contact Suzanne Wexler at skwexler@yahoo.com or 847-769-8257. Thanks for helping!
